Without verifying the capabilities of the software, I will say that it IS
ok to include pictures. BUT(!!!), because of the limitation of most
printing devices, we have to make sure that whatever is submitted is
simple. To this end, we are limited to:
A) Black and White only (colour is nice, but most people can't)
B) Scan it as low res (maybe 150x150).
C) Keep it small (a 2" x 2" picture can be about 150k in
postscript AND RTF)
D) Keep is simple. Because of the size, we should make sure
that only important things are picturized. Maps for sure.
Important sites and stuff and wary of, although if you contact
the visitor's beaurue (sp) of the town, they might have some
well-done line-art of the site,a nd we don't have to rely on a
large photograph. Line art is easy to scan, inherently
simple, and quite small.
