I think I mentioned it a while ago, but ever read the Lovecraft story about some
guy going back to an old town where everyone was turning into these evil
amphibian/frog things that lived out in the depths off of a nearby reef (Shadow
over/at Innsmouth, maybe..I have to check)....toxic or rather just plain alien
(just as the insects are alien) spirits...also if it's an oil rig, then toxic's
abound!! *I* wouldn't want to meet a big 'ol nasty rig-fueled greatform toxic
oil slick spirit out on the high-seas..
