Hey Gurth, don't go start thinking you're the _only_ old man around here...

I've gone over the current submissions, and brought them down to MS Word 5.1,
to see how big they are. Using the New York font, the file ranges in size
from 32 pages in 9 point (what I use for everything) to 48.5 pages in 12
point (or what TEXT would be). If it stays in 12 point size, then the
addition of as few as 20 pages should be a minimum for keeping it stand
alone.

I figure when Gurth fleshs out his little story from it's current outline
state, we could add probable a page and a half to two pages more. But for
the rest, I have an idea of how to expand it out and make it big enough for
it's own net.book.

There has got to be more to underworld crime other than the Mafia, the Yaks,
the Seoulpas, and all the other racial mobsters. Smaller arms
smuggling/trading groups, drug runners, all sorts of organizations that would
be common in the shadows, but just don't get much "press." Detail a couple
of these (I have an idea for one involving a free spirit), write another
piece of fiction maybe. Sound like a plan?

BTW Gurth , thanks for the Edge Runners write-up.

Now, about a World project. First of all, I have little problem, personally,
with going over NAGEE territory. Personally, I found much of their material
to be rather poor. But that's just me, and it would likely be in very poor
taste for NERPS to cover NAGEE turf.

But that aside, what do we want to do with it? Let me put this an easier
way. Who wants to do what? I'll volunteer Cairo, Egypt, since I've got long
term plans for an official sourcebook on the Middle East. Gurth has stuff
for the Netherlands, and there's a person in Seoul who could write for that
area. Anybody else? I really do think either Singapore or Hong Kong should
be included. At 15-20 pages a section, we would need four to five citites
minimum. Not to mention, this could be a fine long-term project, with
multiple edition of the NAGG (Neo-Anarchists Guide to the Globe).

C'mon people. We could wrap up Underworld in a few weeks, and in another
month, have another book written up. It's all up to us to get off our butts.
