I think I've got a fair view of how to deal with the INTELLIGENCE part
of organizations, but I'm not swearing to get anything big to the group
just yet, here goes a summary of what I think might have gone down about
the time of the crash. Okay, probably a short time after.

The Association for Former Intelligence Officers makes a move during the
confusion for several intelligence HQs, including some really old
outposts, and gets a few, including one of the old Florida DEA
buildings, and have begun to sell information. The NSA has stayed firmly
in the UCAS, as did the FBI and CIA, but the UCAS had suffered the loss
of many DEA facilities, the major CDC location, as well as all of their
major enlisted training grounds. An exchange for shared use of most
major facilities by both parties during the next 50 yrs, while each
establishes itself on the lost front occured, with the CDC facilities
being an exception of 75 yrs.

ASIDE: The south has always been a major contributor to the military. I
can't remember where I was gonna go with that statement, but there you
are.

Hawai'i received a serious boon in the sudden expulsion of all things
UCAS. The facilities were left behind. While the UCAS gov't blitzed all
software and took everything that wasn't nailed down, the facilities
were still there, and not everything got taken. A major port still
exists at Pearl Harbor (where I'm a going?), a major airport at Honolulu
(right next to the old Hickam AFB, which has become a housing
development, and major intel sites. Between all of the old Pacific
commands (PACAF,CINCPAC,and whatever else) and whatever other
intelligence sites could exist (What is on Niihau anyway?)(anybody else
on the list live out in Hawaii? Could make this easier on me.)

Most former UCAS Intel sites got swallowed by the countries they were
in, making the UCAS far less effective outside of itself.

The AFIO got control of most KGB facilities. With the assistance of
several countries it has managed to maintain those facilities over the
years, and uses them as a base from which to run all of the others.

That's more or less my view on things UCAS, at least as far as history
goes. The AFIO doesn't hold an active role, AFAIK, in today's
intelligence field, but it is a real organization. I tip my hat to those
members who've served their countries honorably.

Vote Tom Cone for President in 2012.
