Can we have a consensus on what the stars or the pluses mean? I'd
always thought the "*"s were for stuff from Sland, and "+"s were for
direct response to the Sland system...

"*****" is in the FAQ as preceding a post encryption for example
*****PRIVATE: 'character name(s)' is what you should be using to encrypt your
posts.

"+++++" is for dramatics ie. +++++Include Trideo upload

Good enough explanation for you, if more questions READ THE FAQ!

***** = encrypts (NOT TO, PRIVATE..)

+++++ = dramatics

[ FAQ Excerpt follows: ]

3. "Dramatics"
Many times, a posting will be made that has what are
termed "Dramatics" in them. Often times, this will be
downloading of a program, a description of a video camera
shot, a virus attacking the poster, or some such. To
properly set these events off, one will utilize five '+'
symbols. For Example:

+++++ Download: bad_guy.picture

or

+++++ Video: You see at big monkey climbing a
skyscraper while little airplanes annoy him.
