WILL SOMEBODY DELETE THE GADDAM IDIOTS THAT DON'T HAVE A GADDAM CLUE
HOW TO FORMAT A GADDAM MESSAGE? Or at least have a nice loooong talk
with them. Ironic repetition of the word "gaddam" included for
emphasis .

In similar business, who is the current Dread Executor (the position
formerly held by Dr. Doom) of the list? If there is one, I move for
immediate impeachment on grounds of neglect of duty. I also submit
my bid for the position as it frustrates the hell out of me to see
people who have no damn respect for the long held practices of the
list.

Will someone get this crying wreck some strong barbiturates? He'll get a
stroke if this continues.
So, Now, Jim, you see, much better. Now for the "gaddam" matter of your
"gaddam" mail. Either you are able to blather out constructive critic, or you
shut up. I am _NOT_ interested in being shouted at, and I am not interested in
hearing what an "gaddam idiot" I am unless you are willing to explain your
problem. That clear?

So, now that you calmed down (I hope) : What is your "gaddam" problem?

Trust me, if I could, I would.

I think it's Mark and I think he went home for the weekend. Lets see what
happens after monday before flogging him. He usually does a pretty decent
job of things.

His problem is rather simple. Not many of the newbies seemed to have
bothered to read the FAQ. Or if they did, they decided to ignore it and
post how ever they wanted. Inclusion of .sigs, old messages, the removal or
change of a t/d stamp are the main problems. It's no biggie if it happens
once. But with the number of times it's happened in just the past few days,
it really starts to grate on the nerves. If the new posters would bother to
fix their mistakes, things would be better.

Ah, and here we have an answer I can work with. You are right, I suppose the
mistakes have appeared more often recently, as it might be expectable when
newbies are not used to either format or style. I can just apologize and
assume the other newbies are tzrying like me to avoid these mistakes. But
there is a difference between your last sentence (although it _is_ difficult
to change a mail after it has been sent), and the cursing about "gaddam
idiots". If I sounded a bit unfriendly, I apologize, but I heard the word
idiot too often this weekend.

I am also new to the list and have refrained from posting for one simple
reason.
I don't have and don't know where to get the FAQ.
A little help would be greatly appreciated.

You're on, Jim. I was maintaining the FAQ and keeping the list
running, and trying to be Dread Executor at the same time. My
copious free time has thus been stretched quite a bit lately.
I'll send you mail about how to remove people from the list
later today, and you can assume your duites as DREAD EXECUTOR!

Don't I know it. The biggest problem that I have is that I
don't have time to tell people what they did wrong when I delete
them. I just nuke 'em and get it over with. It'd help a great
deal if I actually told them what they had done wrong, or if more
of them had the sense to ask.

<Gulp> Thanks for the vote of confidence, and most of all boss, I
hope you didn't take any of the things I said wrong.

I'll do my damnedest to be fair and not use the "G" word too often.
Now that I've been appointed, I'll try to be calm and help the
newbies, rather than just haul into them. Promise.

jim

Now, on to assuming the proper Dread Executor persona..... hmmm.....
