In order to reflect recent changes in the lists, I will be soon revamping
the FAQs for the lists.

Among these changes are:
Adding Doom as co-owner and co-contact person
Changing the NERPS project and submission guidelines
Adding additionals mailing lists to point to (such as cypherpunks)
Adding a disclaimer pointing out that there is naughty language
sometimes spoken on these lists (there are K-12 people on
the net now. whoda thunk it, eh?)
Adding sections on confirming subscriptions.
Changing the operation of Encryptions on ShadowTK
Additional information on FTP sites (like how to get the spaced
files at teetot)

Anyways, the reason I am telling all of you this is, if any of you have
anything you think should go into the FAQs, please drop me a note and
I'll put it in. It would be helpful if you could write up the addition
to save my time and I'll just plunk it in. Also, if you think something
needs to be removed, let me know.

I've only got one idea, off the top of my head, and it is as follows:
Do we want to put in a short summary of the currant plot lines
each time the faq goes out?
It would have helped me when I first started. God's know I'm
still reading printout's starting some six month ago. Granted most
wouldn't read this much, I do because I like the genre.
Also, now that I think about it some examples on how to set the
commands to listserve would help. I had a hell of a time with it. Course
this list is the reason I decided to get involved with computers and I
figure most everyone else is familiar with the procedures.
Anyway, my thoughts.

Nope.

Plots change weekly and there is no way I, or anyone else, has the time
to keep up.

Perhaps a different file could be made with a summary of all the plotlines.
However, that is gonna be awfully cumbersome when the person running the plot
doesn't want to reveal the entire plot. I agree that it would help the
newcomers to get adjusted right away. Maybe someone else has an idea?

Who's going to organize and run it? Plots change DAILY and many only run
for a couple days. Who can keep up?
