The march logs are now availible.

** Still missing March 1st-10th - so if you have them, please send them to me.

** Rob - I don't see where you made the Feb 5th-20th logs availible.

++ Formating - This month was bloody hell trying to edit. Try not to mess
up so much folks, I still am finding mistakes. (like bloody non-talk
posts)

!! This is the largest Log since Nov of 94!!!!
And we are missing 9 days of it.
Thank you Brian for singlely accounting for probably 50-100 k.

?? I now have stats on the logs if anyone is interested
Like the average compression size being 42%
(in fact I even have nice pretty graphs too, Excel format)

What was Nov 94? I don't remember that long ago. :(

And when I downloaded all the Maxim stuff(not just mine, but everyone's)
that I wanted, it was about 500k. And I didn't keep everything. This is
a bit scary.....

Hmm, I think it was near the corruption of Talky posting.

my numbers were really winging it on that part, (I just decided to type some
down so that people would go "oooohh", being that its 12:00 at night I'm even
worse with the guesstimating.

SP - so how is everyones daylight savings time?

One thing I love about Az is that we don't bother with DST. I never could
remember how to do it when I lived out east and I don't have to remember now.

NO - Avoiding homework.

Actually - I had done most of the work back in November when we switched to
the new server. I just add on the next 4 months and added in the text file
sizes. I wish that I had win 95 when I did it the first time, I typed in every
bloody file size that time, this time I just copied from the dos-prompt.

Besides, I might be getting out of practice with Excel, the last thing I did in
it was to create a RoleMaster automated character sheet (a real bitch, but a
great help once it was done.)

Ahhhh, when Dante put a virus into Talky and he went nuts on Lister. And
maybe around the time of Dante's death too....

Since you have the stats, Dan, what was the largest log of all? Nov 94,
or was it around Monica or Omega Island(probably Omega Island, I suspect)?

I think the Monica-Omega Island thing was the larges log file, I think it
was sometime in early '93 or '94 if I remember, my memory fails me in my
old age.

As for the logs from February, they have been uploaded, dunno where at
now though.

I think your right, I haven't checked yet, but it sounds about correct.
Feb of 93 just skyrockets of the charts, it makes everything else seem puny.

So where should I look first

ftp nowhere.is.here or ftp dev.nul.com ? :)

Rob, I think you need more sleep. (or some gummy bears, but I lack funds at the
moment for that) :)

Nah. If you really know, he's like that all the time. You should the
Excel formulas he came up with for Rolemaster characters. Deeeeaar

It bit, I was late for two of my classes because I forgot to set my
clocks. Me and my friends are thinking about revolting against this whole
daylight savings jazz.

I hate to sound like an idiot, but where do I get the logs from if I want
them. I know it's probably mentioned in the F&Q thing but I just finished
writing a paper and I'm feeling to lazy to read through it. Damn it's
that same wet carp.

Move to Arizona - its got wonderful quirks.

Lots of guns and survivalists
Big cities with lots of crime
New age hot spots like Flagstaff and Sedona with artists and large pagan
communities
Mormans - lots of mormans - their VERY nice people too.
Stores where you can buy a shotgun, bullets, JD and cigarettes
Sandy Deserts
Vegetated Desert
Highland Deserts (flagstaff)
Skiing (and water sports at Lake Havasu)
Grand Canyon
Heat - lots of it in the valley
Heat and Cold - in Flagstaff (shorts and tee-shirt in the after noon
with coats and pants needed in the morning)

Its even better in 2057 because we got
Aztlan, Pueblo and UTE all around.
