Renewal notices are sent to EVERYONE when their time for renewal comes
up, whether you are set nomail or not. the software cannot currently
determine who is nomail and not nomail when it checks expiration dates.
It also provides a way to those who want to sign off, but can't for some
reason, but who are too nervous to ask me to do it for them, to get off.
Sorry if it is a hassle, just confirm your subscription and get on with
life. It only happens 4 or 6 times a year per list.
-----
Also, I have raised the time limit on confirming your subscription from
seven days to 14. This shoudl allow more time for when people are away
on vacation. Note, though, to go any higher ( like to 21 or 28) would be
bad and would pretyt much defeat the purpose.
If you still are unable to confirm in the two-week allowance you have,
you will just have to sign up again.
