all the applications we received, Doom and I have chosen the person who
will play the part of ShadowTalk Assistant Deputy Fearless Leader.
Jason Carter, who has been part of these mailing lists since the
beginning has a long history of performing many of the duties he will be
assigned. His veteran status coupled with his already demonstrated
abilites were instrumental in our choosing him over the other
well-qualified applicants.
Jason will have the job of, as Doom appropriately called it, "shepard" on
the PLOT-D and SHADOWTK mailing lists. He will watching for
mis-formatted postings and informing the miscreants of their errors. He
will also be authorized to delete people that consistently violate
formatting conventions. In addition, he is charged with keeping an eye
out munchkinious characters and storylines, and in general facilitate
discussion on PLOT-D about various problems a storyline may have.
Please welcome Jason aboard.
Jason should be added to the ownership rolls sometime by the end of the
weekend (krypton is going down tonight, so it will probably be tomorrow
at least).
