my control at the moment.
Scourge received Claw's request. As he debated how to truly respond
to it, he was kidnapped. No indication as to whether he is alive or
not, or even where he ended up. Watching security logs show that he
was definitely kidnapped, and that they wanted him alive, at least for
the moment.
This should leave everyone who is interested in dealing with the slots
who decided to waste off an bunch of orks and trolls in a bit of a
quandary. Ratspeak will post by next Monday mentioning he is a bit
worried about the lack of activity from Scourge's end if no one acts
sooner. However, I suspect that certain individuals, like Claw
wouldn't wait that long to wonder what the frag is up with Scourge.
Ball is in your court. Until I see some signs of life, the story
stagnates here.
I have one last, sort of related comment: I haven't read any of the
past logs since May 30th, so Brian Roger's posting as Knight Errant is
incredibly ironic. However (despite the fact that Brian told me so
way in advance), Kor going legitimate? Hmmm.... we shall see, my
friend.
For the record, there have been some interesting developments in Ares
Arms around about Shadowfox's supposed return to Seattle. One of them
involves the a Vice-President (or maybe higher I hadn't truly decided
on the overall rank of the official) was declared on an extended
vacation after a team of runners got way too far unchallenged through
Ares Arms' security. Somehow the runners got stopped, but it wasn't
by anything Ares threw up against the runners. The other interesting
note is that on the night in question, Scourge was present in Ares
Arms' matrix, and was actually the one who first raised the alarm that
something was amiss. Scourge is ... err was an employee of Knight
Errant.
Later,
Mike
