sentience? Ditto MONICA's? and do you _really_ think either of them would be
willing to start up another bloody AI in the Matrix? Ramirez may be capable,
with access to the right eqiupment, and MONICA certainly is, but I'd think
Ramirez would have severe qualms by now about introducing another such
presence, and MONICA certainly doesn't want a rival floating around.
And just think of the ANGST there'll be if said AI's ever go bad... "I didn't
pull the plug when I had the chance, and now *fill in the blank*'s death will
be on my conscience forever!" (Ramirez rewrites his icon to appear with one
hand permanently against his forehead and a pained expression on it's face.)
Sure. I like it. Go for it. And a certain gnu-based virus may show up for the
final assist. (heh heh heh...)
Hey, if MONICA is still using that dragon construct, why not configure CLU to
appear as a paladin in shining armor with a lance...and SPRITE as the Damsel in
Distress (tm)? Could be fun...
