Okay, I'm renaming them Shogi and will handle this in character.

Jamie, and anyone else in the shifters, how would they react if someone
out and out threatened them so that kristling had no support at *all* in
Seattle?

It depends on what you mean by "threatened."

Verbally, physically, magically? How big of a threat and how it was
presented would make a lot of difference. Is this something just to tie
them up or a real threat? Would the threat be unspecific, or would they
say "Stay away from Kristling, or there will be consequences! >>insert
maniacal laughter<<"

This could be the kind of thing the group needs to pull them together,
since they have been fraying at the edges as of late. (Sorry Jamie,
something came up and I'll get the post on that out later today....)
Anyway, I assume you want Kristling SOL in the allies department, we can
probably work something out over private mail to keep the Shifters from
reponding to any cries for help.

They'd be pissed off in a vague sort of way that Kristling has let his
enemies find out about the group. Maybe pissed off big-time if these guys
know anything important about the group or its members.

Also mystified as to why said enemies would bother, after all, the shifters
have only a very tenuous connection to Kristling. They might as well
threaten the airline that brought him into Seattle.
