I've had this happen to me before. It was amusing to say the least. At
least it didnt happen in the middle of a run. One of the greater fire
elementals I had summoned to do some research on a new spell with asked only
that he could get ahold of me if he ever needed me. I agreed, and the deal
was made. Well, he needed me. To get ahold of me, he summoned me (I htink
using my true name) to his plane. Its a little odd to be in the middle of
something and then sailing through astral space. THIS is why Kor only
summons spirits he's worked with before. One's that have agreed not to be
upset when it happens. Its more than a little disconcerting.
