heated, and most people are beginning to think the Whistler is something
of an asshole (if they didn't think that already), I feel I should post
some information here, so the players out there (NOT THE CHARACTERS) will
have a better idea as to why Whistler dislikes trolls and orcs so much.
Quite simply, when the Whistler was about a year out of college and
happily working on the Fuchi Seattle Black Ops Team, his parents and his
younger sister were brutally killed by a group or orcs and trolls in a
race riot. His mother died while being raped, while his sister had to
endure the pain and horror, and _then_ be killed. His father had to
watch it all before being killed. That is why the Whistler has made
several comments about revenge, and that the past can't be changed. For
several years he was in Humanis, as a fringe member, but hasn't been in
contact or been active for over 6 years now. And for those who think he
just a racist prick, he WAS enganged to an elf, before SHE was brutally
murdered.
I'm doing this on plot-d because the Whistler would NEVER admit this to
anyone. He has so many name changes it's not even funny. Now, if some
enterprising reporter friend of Kovak's wants to try to "expose" the
Whistler, then pleas e-mail me privately and we can set this up.
Basically guys, I'm trying to now move this beyond mere macho rivalry and
posturing. In all honesty, I don't think Kovak would stand a chance
against the Whistler (I've been running him since Jan91), but that
doens't make for a very exciting story.
In any case, that's just my piddly 2 cents...
