Well... here's the dish on Widow and how it ties into the current "Project
Purge" storyline that I'm workig on... I haven't gotten all the details worked
out yet (I'm still doing research on those)... but here's the lowdown so
far...

It is not a normal person behind this... while there is a corp involved, it is
being run by a nasty/evil spirit of some sort who has control of the CEO of
Genetek... like I said, I don't know the details... but he has this evil
shaman working for him, who was the one that cast that spell at Widow... she
has been fighting the influence of the spell, but it has been a losing battle,
and she needs the ritual to help fight it off...

Widow, however, will NOT be completely restored by the ritual... while the
effects of the spell will be gone, Widow herself will be in shock because of
the things she said and did while under the shaman's influence and will go
into a catatonic state... it will require great need of someone close to her
(in this case, her younger brother, now working at Genetek) to bring her out
of her 'trance' and get her involved.

The girl that Panthra is looking for is the daughter of the Spirit-controlled
CEO of Genetek... she is one of the key information holders in why this CEO is
doing what he is... that it is not his own choice, but rather an evil
influence in his life...

I'm not going to reveal anything else at the moment, because I don't want to
give away EVERYTHING. But now you know roughly where I want the plot to go,
and can help out. Any suggestions on detail stuff will be welcome... whether I
can use them or not is another matter...

Thanks in advance....

I've been thinking....this Project Purge thing sounds a lot like the last
"Alien Nation" episode where those guys bioengineered the virus to kill all
the Newcomers. Never did find out what happened, though <show was cancelled>.

Well, considering I never watched Alien Nation, I didn't get the idea from
there... this plotline was originally going to be a short novel that I was
writing, but then I changed that to an adventure... but the original adventure
was nowhere near as complex as this "Project Purge" is becoming... I hope you
like it, regardless of how 'unoriginal' the idea is...

Ah well...
