The following email was received last friday. Since I've kinda lost
touch with this list due to grad school and teaching little kids, I'd
appreciate if y'all could fill in the holes that exist and drop me a
line. I'll compile the filler and send them back a replacement entry.

Dear mailing list owner,

Your Internet resource appeared in the first edition of THE INTERNET DIRECTORY
(published by Fawcett, a division of Random House, in October 1993). We're
writing to
confirm the information on your mailing list for the second edition of the book.

The second edition will contain many more listings, as well as a CD-ROM for
electronic browsing and searching of the data. It will also be arranged by
subject category instead of by resource type.

Below is a form containing all the information we have on file for your resource
We would be very grateful if you could make any corrections and/or additions
directly on the form and e-mail it back to us.

These messages were posted a long time ago on a mailing list far, far away. The copyright to their contents probably lies with the original authors of the individual messages, but since they were published in an electronic forum that anyone could subscribe to, and the logs were available to subscribers and most likely non-subscribers as well, it's felt that re-publishing them here is a kind of public service.
