Here's what I'm going to do this week. Tomorrow (Monday), Wolf 359 is
going to report that Meyers is inviting a bunch of investors out to
Chicago to see if he can get some cash for the net.cop idea. Wolf's
gonna crash the party on Wednesday. He'll report back that Meyers got
some money and partners on Thrusday.
Next Monday (May 2th), Ramirez will release CLU (I'm going with that
name). The whole run will be written up like the rescue of Coyote (full
of action). MONICA will capture CLU, download him, and melt Ramirez's
computers (meaning several weeks of installing new equipment and
reburning chips, he does have backups though.)
Now, CLU managed to plant various 'bugs' all over the AI system, and over
the next few days, everyone will hear reports of what's going on with
AI. MONICA and Meyers will be heard plotting their world conquest and
such. We will also overhear the torture of CLU and the conversations
with CLU and SPRITE.
Now, I kinda have a problem with the idea of "SPRITE merges with CLU".
It's the wrong symbolism *shudder*.
SPRITE is _supposed_ to be the perfect little ai-like soldier, at least
in MONICA's book, and SPRITE considers MONICA to me "mother". CLU (by
virture of the data he's been programed with) convinces CLU that the
opposite is true. They'll be some interesting conversations that will
show the two evolving over the course of several days. No merging.
Now, that's about all _I'm_ going to do to get things rolling. At this
point, we need to organize a run on AI by Ramirez and the rest of the
gang. I'm not sure of the best way to do this.
A couple things for sure. There will be NO fights with MONICA or Meyers
when the final run is made, she bugs out. This is designed to,
essentially, piss off everyone in the story. It's a hollow victory,
devoid of meaning. Any characters you wanna kill off shoudl be blown
away by ICe.
