There was some post made that came from Germany, with something on the end
about an anonymising service (something about Netztrainer, I forget
exactly)... can I borrow that soonish, and what exactly was the format for
it?

Sure you can. I thought of it as some kind of Hotmail... one pays a
little fee, and can send messages through this anoymiser. Netztrainer
doesn't check too deeply (<-note: Euphemism!) the ids of people using
this service. Hope that helps.

I assume he knows how to keep his mouth shut too, right? Otherwise he
wouldn't be in business, I suppose.
