I think all RPG systems have a life cycle... since new ones are coming
out all the time, they tend to fade away after a while... unless they
keep inventing new editions the way D&D just has... but after a while,
that just gets silly. So it's been so long since SR was released, that
any new roleplayers are starting with different games now, and there's
not much interest in SR anymore. Without new players, there's no-one to
replace the inevitable attrition. I don't know if the list is going to
die a quiet death, but given the amount of time it's been quiet, it
wouldn't surprise me.

on the list and checking email does *gasp* take a back seat to RL events at
times.
