I've been a little patchy in my attendance to these lists lately.
Hopefully, I'll now have a little more spare time: it seems I've passed
the MSc I was working towards over the last two years.

Changing jobs is hell on writing. Especially when you work for the
military.

I'm still here, still reading, but free time is a problem. I _will_ get
back to everyone soon, promise.

(Hint to some - replying makes me feel guilty :) Others... sorry.)

I know that some of you are probably wondering about the Sword
of God run... I've been under a _shit_-load of stuff recently,
and I just haven't had time to get it done I'm afraid. However,
I promise that it'll be well oh it's way to completion by
Saturday evening...

Once again, sorry for any inconvenience caused, but I'm afraid
that my ass was on the line for this one...

The end of the semester has arrived, and while I'll try to get out some
stuff immediately that I've been putting off unintentionally, I may not
be able to do much but read the list for the next couple of weeks. I'll
probably still post a little here and there about stuff, but no more 17k
postings.

Sorry for the delay on the fourth and final installment of the Drake/Lynch
activities, but it's late here and I've got work in the morning. I'll get
it out sometime tomorrow evening.

Two hands and two feet up...:) Drake is far more complex than I had thought
originally. Kudos...and I know Ryuga may actually try to help him out...:)

Sorry about the double post, folks. My blasted server sent the original
directly to Bruce, and I didn't notice 'till after I deleted the post I
was replying to.

Many apologies.

As a result of some personal complications at the moment, I'm going to
have to drop my ongoing plots for a while.

Deepest apologies to all involved in them, specifically Paul, Sascha and
Frank. Hopefully it won't be for long, but I don't know at this time.
Sometimes life just really sucks.

Deepest apologies everybody.

I've got a bunch of people stuck into contracts with Cat and I've been
off-line for four days... <grrr> Catastrophic collapse of the phone
service in my area and bingo, no net...

OK, thankfully I set a generous time limit for most of the jobs, so I
should be covered.

Anyway, things are back to normal, and I'm looking forward to getting
ISDN at last. :) Once the telecom company have sorted their exchange out
anyway.

Let me guess. Your fault? Has to be, you're at the root of all evil,
aren't you?

Did you get any of the messages I sent to you recently? The "flies" are
buzzing about and nearly ready to annoy Ahriman and her flyswatter...

Not my fault at all. Not this time anyway. :)

Yes I got them, and I'm going through it all now.

Sorry for the sudden break in my communications, Finals
coupled with server breakdown meant I missed the deadline
for continuity...

I'm working on details for the PCs at the moment to rejoin
the continuity in game terms.

Well, apologies Pete, but Cat has a certain level of reliability that he
sticks to. As he has done in the past, and will again in the future, he
guarantees his contracts, both to the employer and the employee. If the
contractor craps out or cheats on an assignment payment will still be
made to the hired persons, from Cat's own pocket, the same applies in
reverse, he will offer reparations at his own expense to the contractor
in light of a serious foul up, such as that experienced recently with
Kid.

I do sympathise that you had real life commitments that were beyond your
control, I recently suffered a similar fate that has kept me off list
for a couple of months and left two other list members in an
uncomfortable limbo. There is no animosity whatsoever from me
personally concerning the situation that has arisen on Stk, but I feel
that it is necessary to play Cat the way he has developed on the list,
and he is not a particularly forgiving person. :)

Anyway, just a quick note to explain, so you don't think I'm attacking
you personally (as some people seem to think I do from time to time) and
a quick wish that you do/did well in your finals.

I had no worries about being flamed, I took cat's remarks as they were
intended, and Kid Durango replied as I felt he would given what i supposed
had happened to him in the meantime [given his history in Seattle].

All I was trying to do was explain /mesh back into Continuity without
using RL problems as an excuse.

So as far as I am concerned it is just part of what seems to me
to be an interesting plot development, in that nothing always goes to
plan for every participant.

No offence taken at all by me...have fun.

Pete

Finals worked out fine btw, just a huge workload in a very short time.

Fair enough, I just felt a quick note might help, I've been taken the
wrong way on more than one occasion before. :)

I figured as much.

And you will not get an argument from me there. I've got too much
personal RL experience of that part of Murphy's Law to deny it exists.
:)

>Finals worked out fine btw, just a huge workload in a very short time.

Heh, I can sympathise. Congrats.
