Bahhhhhh !

Hey, he got the word out didn't he? This is not for IC play so live with it.
I certainly saw some stuff I wanted. It's not like he's viciously forcing his
auction upon you. Grow up.

Why? Sorry, I don't see why we should have to have spammers posting crap
here. This guy owes the EFF $1,000.

Good for you. I didn't.

Actually, he is. I had to pay to download his crap. Wasn't interested,
still am not, but I get this big brown steaming message in my mailbox
anyway. In what way is this relevant to the ShadowTK list?

At least the fragger posted it to plotd instead of s-tk, but I guess it's
still spamming.

He made a small error, don't get your panties in a twist. If you want to get

For what? having SR related info on an SR mailing list....wow...that's spam
allright...

And to the other guy who said about paying to DL it, if that's the case get a
new ISP. And if you're paying a flat rate you shouldn't act like it's costing
you a godawful amount of money.

That's it.

You're an idiot, you realize that? Look at Paul's address. Do you realize
that not every place in the world has free local calling? That perhaps
it isn't just a matter of isp's?

And it wasn't Sr related. It was a sale. This is not a buy/sell/trade
list. It's a fiction and plot discussion list. It's the principle of the thing.
We don't want people spamming us with this crap.

Oh, and, if he pays the $1000, it won't be a big deal. At least he'll
have paid.

He technically wasn't selling, idiot, he was looking for folks to sell to at a
later date. I've dealt with some good online auctions before, and perhaps he
doesn't know where the SR newsgroup is? This was perhaps his only option for
getting the word out. And if they guy actually opened a mail with an OBVIOUS
title for an auction sale, then he shouldn't complain about the costs, just
ignore the mail.

That's it. Out of the pool. Do not pass go. You are behaving
like an immature little child trying to provoke an argument,
and I will not tolerate it. Consider yourself banned from
listproc.itribe.net. Good-bye.

GET THE GOD DAMN POINT!

The topic of this list ain't all things SR.

It's "let's fleash out TK plots.

Stop being an ass.

This has been my pissy attitude for this month. I put into something I
believe in. Then, SOME FRAGGER COMES ALONG and POST SOMETHING FOR
PERSONAL GAIN!

Se7th Son, while It may not be againt your PERSONAL feelings, it's
against list rules. Period. Finito. That's all folks. no if, ands, buts,
or that's-a-load-of-shit-about-it.

He was doing it in a way that was inappropriate for the list. The list is
for people to talk about shadowtk related plots, not for them to sell
anything vaguelly-Shadowrun related, or rant abusively about their right
to spam.

> What if you dont like what some person has to say you just ban them ?

If the listowner doesn't like the way someone is saying something, he has
every right to kick them off. In this case, I think it was quite
justified. If you don't like it, start your own list for
interactive shadowrun, abuse and spam. :P

life.

I have never _ONCE_ kicked anyone from any of these lists
simply because I personally disagreed with what they had to
say. NEVER. The very first post from this guy was an
obvious troll and everyone one thereafter was engineered
to elicit a negative response (ie: provoke a flame war). If
he'd just been arguing a point of view instead of trying to
be an ass about it, I'd probably just have killed the thread,
but that was not the case. Again, you're free to disagree
with me, and I will not boot you or anyone else for that.

I don't. I was considering unsubbing the guy myself if he didn't shut
up. Lord only knows what the Nasty Guy Dread Executor would have done...

He is saying that PlotD should become alt.commercial.auctions.vaguely-
shadowrun-related. What do AD&D modules have to do with the ShadowTK
list?

>What if you dont like what some person has to say you just ban them ?

Nope. Spamming the list with commercial advertising is explicitly,
clearly and loudly forbidden. Period. Do not pass Go, do not collect two
hundred pounds.

Don't like that fact? Fine. Nobody's forcing anyone here to be a
listmember.
