Meine Kamaraden:

Although I yet await feedback from various private sources, here is
the contemporary account of the status of the awards:

The Categories:
---------------
Best Major Picture ( Plot )
Best Minor Picture ( Plot )

Best Actor in a Leading Role }
Best Actress in a Leading Role } Assumed to be protagonists
Best Actor in a Supporting Role } of sorts.
Best Actress in a Supporting Role }

Best Villain in a Leading Role
Best Villain in a Supporting Role

Best Director (based off of organization of a plot-line)
Best Writer (based off of over-all prose; not necessarily a plot-organizer)

Prose Awards (our version of the myriad "technical awards")

Best Characterization
Best Description
Best (Melodrama
Best Battle (?)
Best Humor
Best Silliness

Look for a few "Special Achievement" Awards for conspicuous merit -- should
time permit such bonuses.

"Golden Raspberry" Awards -- not necessarily the worst, but at least most
ridiculous:

Plot
Character
Villain
Writing

This present proposal results in a grand total of twenty award categories.

Herr Waisley inquired after the cut-off date, which is 31 December 1993, which
I feel is as rational and fair a demarcation line as possible.

Unless there are further comments or objections, this is how they shall stand,
with a bit of possible fine-tuning.

Information on procedures for nominations shall be posted as soon as I resolve
myself as to the method I shall employ in the tallying.

Looks good to me, Doct Doom.

How does this sound for descriptions of the film types:

Major Picture = Must have taken place over at least one week and included
multiple subscribers.

Minor Picture = Not Major Picture

* See Ya in Shadows * * "Keep your friends close, but keep *
* Jason J Carter * Carter@***.EDU * your enemies closer." *
