riiping us off and
we can't do anything about it. I didn't cry too loudly when the $1.25 token fad was over
and we started to
pay 1.50 for our tokens, I mean I thought to myself ( and this scared me) what am I gonna
do boycott the
subway? boycott the bridges? boycott the fairy? how da hell am I gonna explain to my boss,
umm sorry dude I
can't make it into work today, I'm boycotting the transportation system and their unfair
hike on urban fares.
yup, I can see it now two hours later I would get a call back from my supervisor after the
shock wore off and
he would tell me to come and pickup my tool bag and get my shit out of his (my) offices
that I was fired. But
today was just one of them days, I'm running a little late not really you know I would
have made it to work a
good 10 minutes before I'm actually supposed to be there but for me that's late. when all
of a sudden the
express 7 train that I'm on decides that it's not gonna go any further and make the
present stop wich we have
been stting on for the past 5 minutes it's last stop. at first I saw no problem in this
except that all of a
sudden it hit me I'm paying these bastards over 25-30 bucks more a month that I can't
afford since this tax
hike and I'm gonna be late to work for no reason other that the fact that someone decide3d
to get sick on the
train ahead of us and no one person on the other train is intelligent enough to get the
idiot off the train
and get him/her some medical attention. then I have to ride all the way back to the stop
after my home stop so
that I can transfer to a different manhattan bound train that takes the long way into the
city, mind you I got
to work 30 minutes late and my supervisor doesn't want to hear, what he calls the MTA
excuse, I wouldn't want
to hear it either... so now here I am written up on my very first lateness, pissed off and
I feel ripped off
out of every token I've baught since the hike. WHOm do I complain to? /Whom can I talk to
and see at least a
gradual change in service? if anyone has the answers to any of these questions, you know
the e-mail addy, use
it. cuz I'm in serious condition. No wonder freaks climb to the highest of points in a
city and decide to
spray the the town. I guess maybe their hoping to hit the fucker that increased the train
fare on him....
