As I said yesterday, this'll go down on Saturday. I already have the place
all set and need to know how you plan on going after it. So far I have only
Raven and Jackal on the way. Is anyone else going after Dante? Specifically,
the people who had mentioned the Yaks and other misc. pee-od individuals, like
IBA or CRUSH? Two just doesn't seem to be a large enough number...

And Mike, how about you have Raven post that you have followed Dante and am
ready to finally take care of it. I'll run a Dante post here in a minute, off
the old deck, and a trace with Raven's name on it.

Well IBA would happily kill the guy but it's too much effort and it doesn't
pay. Not just that but he's very suspicious of someone who threatens alot
of shadow runners and makes himself appear an easy target. Something would
be saying, nah, why should I place ma butt on the line, let some other fool
do it, and in the back of his mind "then we find out just how powerful he is".

Sorry but IBA is not the run off and risk his butt just becasue some 'fool'
makes a few threats and lets his mouth off.

Phill.

About people nterested in participating in the Dante Finale: the Jeweler
was serious about the bounty from the Yaks. He has been following the
postings and will award the bounty as appropriate, even though there is
no concrete proof that Dante is really dead. In the least, he (Dante)
will have to lay low for a year or so, and that means he can't unleash
another monster like the Mutant Toaster, and that is worth the Nuyen
as far as the Yaks are concerned (Talkie really didn't like the idea
that the Japanese only ate rice...). As for active participation,
however, Jeweler will just watch. Someone might ask him for some
equipment for the final job, since with his connections, he is a Fixer
Extrordinaire, and he will supply said equipment (or try, at least),
but he has no authorization to take a direct "official" role, and has
no desire to take a personal role. But I would like to get him more
involved in the Seattle Shadow scene, so feel free to use him in a Fixer/
Information Source capacity.

Someone might try inviting Cobra, the Snake shaman, into the final
confrontation. He is VERY good friends with Jeweler, and is rather
short on cash right now, so a share of the bounty would be welcome.
Although he has some disadvantages in a direct confrontation, he would
be very good as backup; watching the back door to make sure Dante doesn't
escape that way, healing, etc. He's a bit creepy to work with; he is
very thin, shaved head with snake scale tatoo where the hair would be,
pure white eyes (natural, he was born that way) so it's hard to tell
exactly who he's looking at (did I mention he almost never blinks?), and
he has a habit of eating live mice (swallows them whole, he has a ready
supply at his favorite bar, the Totem Hole); but he's really cool in
a fight.

The only problem from my end is that I'm in Switzerland, 9 hours ahead
of Seattle. I'll check the net Saturday night (morning in Seattle), and
hopefully I'll be able to get involved, but I can't guarantee anything.
If it looks like I've missed it, I authorize anyone to write things up
from a Snake's perspective. I would prefer Cobra not take more than a
serious would, and no more than a medium at any one time. He is
curious as hell, though, and if he goes into a dangerous situation,
it will be because he saw something strange, or wanted to check out
some weird theory. I hope I can write him up myself, but if not,
be kind.

Well, Cyberpunk has a stake in it, so he'll be there.
I mean, where else could you pick to launch a surgical
strike but from next door? *grin*

he wants that slot...

I don't know as anyone else could do it. I don't know how many actually
would KNOW where to go as someone hasn't spread the word around. Heck,
except for the fact I haven't bothered to trace him yet, Silver could
inform some of the people he has annoyed as to his whereabouts. At least
one Yak clan [probably more, to shame the one who couldn't handle Dante],
a couple of corps, etc.... But then there's too much company and all that
drek...

Dante will be dying shortly. I hope that you don't get your accounts
crashed, and I'll try to spread the posts out by a little time so that this
doesn't happen, but it's time. Be prepared to read a LOT.
