>>2. As I mentioned above, I've read the FAQ (will
wonders never cease??), but I was still wondering -
how does one go about introducing characters and
joining plotlines? Is there any accepted convention?
Should I just hang around here until someone starts
talking about something I find interesting and then
ask them about joining it? Or what?

Whatever you want, TBH....head cam stuff works well,
as do personal logs, but the best thing I found was to
read the last year's worth of archives and get a feel
for the different styles of postings...

Now I've got Silent Bob finished, I can post my part of
the Malone saga!

Oh, uh...something else I forgot -

Time/date conventions. I know we're supposed to time
and date posts, but how do we know what time and date
to give them? Do we always give them and time and date
after the LAST post sent to the list, or what?

>From the FAQ -

"Time = The time of the post in 24hr format (i.e., hh:mm:ss) I've found
it personally convenient to simply use the current real-world time.
There has been some discussion regarding using a universal time
(example, everyone posts using GMT or Seattle time). It has been
generally accepted that it is too much of a pain to try to recalculate
posting time."

Sometimes you'll want to fiddle it - a series of posts that were meant
to go out over a couple of hours, for instance, or a message that had
been lost in a mail server, or some other plot device - but in general,
just using current local time seems to work OK.

Thanks, Tim.

I've already been notified and taken note. Me be
careful now. :)

And Ironguard's being a saint - unless, of course, he
and Sapphire shacked up when they got back. ;)
