Actually, is Brian Angliss around? (Haven't heard from him since AJ was
moving to get back into the arms business.)

She isn't expressly trying to torque Irish, but that is what she
originally stated. (Although, I'm surprised if AJ doesn't have workers
under him that would handle this sort of thing at his shadowclinic.)
And if you think about it, a shadowrunner that visits a local clinic
runs all sorts of risks, from being picked up on security cameras, to
underpaid clinic personnel giving them up to authorities, to simple
malpractice by underpaid, overworked personnel with inadequate
resources. Being SINless, etc., they can't exactly go downtown to a
nice doctors office and sit in a waiting room, but generally being
well-paid puts them in a position to pay good (and tax-unreported) money
to doctors willing to deal with a more dangerous kind of clientelle.

I'm kinda surpised that nobody else has an available shadow-doc
character. Is MatB and his Dr. Seuss still around? I was wanting to
get some other people involved (albeit indirectly) with writing. If I
don't get any takers, I'll just make something up myself.

What she isn't saying here is that due to her "unique" biology, she
needs a doctor who will keep their mouth shut, with some stronger
assurance than "doctor-client priveledge." Having a strongly instilled
fear of vivisection will do that to you, and the use of the term "meat"
didn't help matters any. She gets the impression that it would be
highly unlikely for her to be able to threaten AJ into silence, and with
his appearantly superior attitude to his patients, she has little reason
to trust his candor.

Jeff, I did post a small exchange between Xenon and his street-doc "Justin
Case" a while back. I'm certainly willing to have him take on a new client or
two. He's not bleeding edge tech, or even necessarily that great at what he
does.. but he does know how to keep his mouth shut, and the weirdness of his
clients doesn't really bug him.. he's more concerned with where his next hit
is going to come from.

I could offer the services of one of my characters' regular doctors, who's a
"Shadow General Practitioner" that would probably work out fairly well. I'd
have to dig up the name and other basic info from my notebook, but I think
that Scrape's regular doctor might be a good match.

Hmmm. Okay. Well, from the look of it, it'd actually be nice to have
both of them reply (directly or indirectly via a referal) to
Quicksilver. If you could (via private reply to my address) fill me in
on a little info that NewzJunkie would be able to dig up (he's good at
rumormongering and assembling not heavily (or un-) protected data).
Like Karl, define: "next hit."

I just based that statement on the amount of security mentioned the last
time someone "new" went to see AJ. I figure that if things where that
tight, he wouldn't be willing to handle minor illnesses and what not.
Could very well be wrong.

Again, based on the last time, it was indicated that attempting to break
the "rules" was very bad for one's health. Things may have changed, since
if I remeber correctly, AJ was going through a paranoid phase at the time.
