He may have. Actually, I cool Greek name I like for military things (Wasn't
this dolphin supposed to have been originally developed along those lines?)
is Hoplite; That's what they called their militia forces around 800-1000 BCE
I think (it's been while since I took the class). Other names:

Archimedes
Aristotle
Socrates

Trojan (HEY! This goes along with what Rob said about their sexu-never mind).
