Hi all,

I just wanted to seek some advice from experienced
list members in relation to my current couple of
rookie posts to TK.

In one of them I gave a definate timeline for an
event to occur and due to subsequent hurry up's
at work have been quite busy the last couple of
days and have been unable to post my followups.

I have just remembered that the time/date stamp
is meant to keep coincided with the real date +
61 years. In not posting when I should have I've
blown my timeline out.

What is the correct etiquette in this situation for
resolving the issue. Would it be against the 'rules'
to just post with a backdated date stamp or
should I perhaps present a number of days
worth of posts in one post with the current date
+ 61 years perhaps?

Please any assistance is appreciated as I
don't want to be nuked for doing things
the wrong way. I'd much rather ask and do it
right first time.

No, I think it would be acceptable to post somewhat backdated messages as
long as they don't seriously impact events on Shadowtk as a whole. My just
my view.

Re: your earlier post

I was hoping one of the "Dread Executors" or other readers would have
taken care of that over private e-mail.

Also, rest, what rest? I haven't been posting because I have got a job
that is keeping me working 12 hours a day of late.

On one side, even runners (esp. deckers) get busy from time to time.
Perhaps the event took place, but the record of the event got held up
and had not been passed on to people that needed it.

If it isn't that critical, or you were getting tired of the story
anyway, you could always drop it. It won't be the first, and definitely
not the last. It's less satisfying, but if you have a better tale to
tell and you aren't leaving any other collaborating writers hanging,
nobody is going to yell at you.

ah yes, the dreaded work. I've actually been preparing for my first year of
University this year, and I have to go 9hrs north by car, so it's kinda
cchaotic arranging things here ATM. Another great (>cough< bullshit!
>cough<) thing is that I'll have a new e-mail address, which means removing
myself from every other damned list in the known world, and letting my level
2 contacts...er...I mean friends know that I'll be offline for at least a
fortnight as of Feb18. Freaking grande...and to top it all off, I've just
got my computer working after a fortnight in the shop, and they couldn't
even tell me what was wrong with it...useless slitches....grrr...

Oh yeah, and I have a new HD with nothing on it...thank god I saved some
stuff to disk coz I've got a Hard Disk staring me in the face (kinda) with 4
odd gig of data on it....darn it I need to plug it in but I cant be stuffed.

Well, I'm off to reply to 300 odd e-mails from the last fotnight (prolly
with the delete key).
