any point sending the FAQ to PlotD as well as S-Tk? There may be people who
are on Tk but not D, but I doubt the reverse occurs very often.

Yeah, they got eaten (or whatever) by the horrors. Each time the mana gets
high the species gets a few decades to figure out how to use this magic
stuff, then the horrors come and kill most of them. Each time it comes and
goes, we gain a bit. As for why they chose 4th world for ED time, I believe
there was something in ED about records of the 1st and 2nd worlds.
Presumably there were cycles before then.

I got the feeling somewhere that only some of them are immortal, and that
they don't necessarily pass it on to their children.
