Heh. Consider me alerted

Not a silly question at all. Yes, you just mail me the profile, along
with a reasonable description of the character and it gets added to the
list on my site. The actual Stk character listing is likely to go up at
some point when Mark sends it out, but that is only text.

No, to be honest. I can do some stuff (which you can see on my site in
the Shadowtk characters section) So I can have a stab at something for
you, but it very much depends. Trolls and Orcs are not my strong point as
I don't have a decent mesh that I can use. But I'm working on some.

> Waiting patiently for the "DUH",

Well, while there are people out there who are more than happy to do that
for you, I'm afraid I'm not one of them. Everyone was new once, some just
forget that.

Heh, I think that applies to all of us. :)

Just send the character through to me with a reasonable description of
them, as in height, facial scars (if any) hair colour, clothing tastes etc
etc. And I'll throw an image together for you. I'll let you take a look
first to make sure that it's OK before the image goes live on my site.

For an example of the kind of art (not line art, this is digital stuff)
check Blaze, Lynch, Gates, Nemesis.
I don't have images for the other characters at the moment, though I'm
working on one for Paul Adam for his character Stephanie.

Hope that helps a bit.

Erm... Oh god what have I done?

OK, yes it's an open offer. However, remember one thing, I'm an amateur
at this, OK, 3d modelling and suchlike for imagery is not my profession.
However, I'll do as good a job as I am able.

So, with that out of the way, let loose the dogs, the offer is open to the
list.

You won't have to worry 'bout me at least. I actually prefer to do my own
art for my own characters. On the other hand, I'm not so confident in my
artistic skills yet to be diving at the chance to have you post my
scribbles up for all to see.

I've found in the past that it helps a lot for me to solidify the
character in my head to draw a portrait of them (I prefer sketchwork). As
I draw I come up with little things that I may not have thought of before.
What do they wear? Why? Do they wear jewelry? What is it? Does it have
any particular significance? Somewhere along the way, I usually come up
with some interesting story elements and flesh out the history behind the
character. It is a personal thing, so I am not the sort who would have
someone draw my character for me. Even though I don't have a high opinion
of my artistic abilities, I draw more for how it helps me develop the
character, and I would suggest it to anybody else whether or not you think
you can draw/paint/sketch/etc.
