That last reply was my long-winded way of going: "HUH?!?"

You may want to re-examine the ShadowTk FAQ, particularly that little
"world-altering" clause in reference to "stuff you bloody well better
bring up on PlotD before you plop them in the main list."

Elder gods run amok _does_ generally fall under world-altering, if left
unchecked. Especially ones taken well-nigh lock, stock, and halo from
another game.

Don't take my character, Michael's acerbic tone too personally. He's
supposed to be a Kabbalist, so he takes offence when people start using
the word "god" too liberally in his opinion. I guess I do too, but I'm
generally more polite about it.

I have to state that I am not comfortable at all with a plot that
appears to be leading to a confrontation between "gods vs.
Shadowrunners." I'm also not that comfortable about taking things
directly from another game, especially one on a completely different
level as ShadowRun. Hey, I'd love to eventually play this PC-character
I have been mulling about in my brain that is a member of "the Fallen"
but was kicked out of Hell, because he repented, but it just isn't
ShadowRun, so you're never going to see him here.

Which is not to say you should pack up your keyboard and go home. Not
in the least. This is the main reason we have PlotD: for people to
toss out story ideas for help or approval if they are too close (or
past) the boundaries of Shadowrun (see cc: address, FAQ for
subscribing).

In fact, through Michael, I've suggested a way possible way out or
around (which is not to say that it is the only one). ShadowRun
explicitly states that it really doesn't matter _what_ the magician
believes, as long as they _believe_ it. Michael could hit his head one
day and suddenly think that he is the Christ. He could even levitate
across water, cure the sick, and transmute water to wine
(transfiguration is relatively easy with a well-placed illusion, but
resurrection is a toughie). It would not, however, make him the Son of
God. However, neither would it make him any less dry, the healed any
less cured, the tap water taste any less like a fine Pinot Noir,
nor--and most importantly--his conviction that he was Christ any less
fervent.

Similarly, what Acherus believes is up to him (actually, it's up to
you). If what Candordriel claimed was actually true, then I think a
number of people would have problems with it, but I think few would have
any problem with Acherus or Candordriel _believing_ what thet do.

As for Entropy Shamans, those also deserve a quick overview here before
they are accepted as kosher. I've never heard of them. Are they
something you made up, or can you reference any source material? If
not, then please give us a fleshed out concept of what you have in mind,
so we can see if it will cause any problems integrating into the
worldview.

Nah, cast a hibernate or feign death type of spell, with a time delayed
treat. Or even, anchored onto something with some sort of trigger condition
on it. Maybe a bit of resist pain for good measure.

Sorry, but your formatting is way out. I'm afraid I have to
ask (in a kind of insistent fashion) that you read the FAQ,
and adhere to the posting guidelines in it.....

Thanks,

James.
