For GoD (and anybody else who is searching for background info on OS^2),
here is the stuff what can be picked up with the appropriate contacts:

Matrix:
Poor: "Who?"
Adequate: "Dunno. Heard the name, though. Seems like a crappy decker,
uses the UMS default for all programs. Never seen him (whatever) in
anywhere but the open Net, though."
Excellent: "Not sure. They, and I'm pretty sure it's more than one
person, seem to have their own agenda. Primarily sleaze techniques,
but despite the UMS icons they've got some damn fine decks. Must have
someone pretty wealthy backing them."
Superior: "OS^2? I have two pieces of advice -- don't interfere with
their runs, don't follow them, and if they offer advice, take it. I
hear that some of the best icebreakers alive are working with, for,
or as members of OS^2, and their milk runs are the stuff that most
of us get paid six digits for. Haven't heard of them working for any
nation or corp, though. Maybe they're a net-based policlub."
Godlike: "Who? Yeah, I know of them, somebody I know was invited to join,
but I can't tell you much more than anyone else, except what the name
stands for...."

Street:
Poor-Excellent: "Who?"
Superior: "Yeah, we were on a run, somebody occupied the system for our
decker while she raided some datafiles. Said that was the name; haven't
heard much of it since then, though. That was a good six months ago."
Godlike: "I was contracted to do some physical penetration for her --
yeah, a her -- into (insert name of corp here) a while back. Just wanted
us to hook up some lines for a couple minutes, then bug out. Dunno why,
but they paid us all some very good money. Must have some major backers."

Corporate:
Poor-Adequate: "No comment."
Excellent: "We are not sure who this person is, but we have lost some very
sensitive information to them. Not valuable per se, but.... potentially
embarrassing."
Superior: "We believe OS^2 to be a high-threat variable response team based
wholly within the Matrix. Examining the records of systems they have been
encountered in, we believe that they have had inside assistance from our
own people; currently, we are attempting a purge of such double-agents,
despite the troubles lately with Maxim."
Godlike: "They are either a Maxim team, or else a rogue team operating, for
example, completely for their own agenda, and on their own time. Certain
of our most sensitive systems, including cold storage areas, have been
infiltrated. We are not amused."
