Maybe I'm reading this message wrong, but I cannot resist asking this
question: Why would a Magician/Sniper have any problems with
flatlining civilians? A job is a job....

The freelance soldiers, maybe. The decker, probably. A sniper
though?? Most of the targets snipers get sent after (or choose to
kill) are legal citizens _somewhere_. I don't see that changing any
time soon. Sure some targets are going to be SINless, but I don't
think a sniper could survive paycheck to paycheck if all he/she/it
took out were SINless people.

Mike

Apart from that, we are on our way. Expect a mixed team
(Magician/Sniper, Decker/Security Specialist, and two military grade
trained freelance soldiers with rigging capability) to be available
tomorrow (Oct 30th). We will be contactable through >>Seattle LTG

You are right to question this one, but there are some problem with
this Magician/Sniper. The character Orion talks about is Canis, a Wolf
Shaman who recently (well...) left the Chicago Containment Zone where
he received near fatal wounds. (See posts in August, ODIN - We are, and
ODIN - Military logs)

His already tight moral codex not to kill wherever possible, and
especially not until attacked himself (extended to his friends), was
even tightend back there, over the deaths of people he felt responsible
for.

How does this match with a description as a sniper? Not at all. Orion
was exaggerating Canis' skills here, as the shaman is quite good with
(sniper) rifles as backup weapons (although never to a degree needed to
be 'sniper'). You may call it advertisment... :-)

Hope that clears matters.
Sascha

I think it's more a case of "splattering civilians for no other reason
than distraction is not what I do". Even Easy doesn't do that, though
only because it draws down too much heat.
