I just want to clear one thing up, before I go and hurl myself further
into the Info thread.

I have used, and probably will continue to use, characters as examples
to highlight things I'm sayihg, that is a nasty little habit of mine,
and one that is difficult to break. Sorry, but there you go.

However. I am not, at any point, unless I specifically state so, having
a go at the player of that character, their manner of posting, or a
direct dig at the character itself.

I've noticed that I've used examples of characters, and the people
concerned have explained and justified their characters actions and
posts. In my opinion, in answering my comments it is not necessary, I
don't expect justification for the character or the player unless I
request it. I'm not complaining about anyone specifically. Honest <g>

Where Mike G, made an innocent comment about increasing the power of
this list to better reflect the intrinsic implied power level of the
characters present, I felt that would be detrimental to the list and
it's content. The general consencus so far, appears to agree with me.

However, it has been mistakenly assumed that I'm having a bloody good
moan about the list in general. I'm not, just trying to get a couple of
things cleared up in my own mind, and using general, rather than
specific comments to highlight the observations made.

I apologise to anyone who has been offended by my use of examples, the
intention was not to offend, but to bring to light a couple of things
that are prevelent here.

Apparently powerful characters, large company/corporate presence, and
newcomers. I'm not really one to complain about company presence,
seeing as at the moment I'm controlling a small contingent of the FBI,
so in a way I'm also making observations about myself, something that
seems to have been missed.

Many people here have been on the list for some time, they have built
their characters up from pretty humble beginnings, not a problem with
me, it's just that their present actions, reflective of their power, is
an obvious guideline for new posters. Reading the more recent logs,
also shows a trend to powerful, efficient and experienced characters. I
had been hoping that in bringing this to light, any new posters to this
list would be approached reasonably if their characters appeared to
rival current listmembers. And of course, to highlight why I thought it
a bad idea to raise the lists difficulty/power/level/whatever.

In my usual habit of running off at the fingers, I may have cunningly
concealed my intent behind a massive cloud of confusion and obscurity,
however, that is very much my way in this life. Again, i apologise for
that. I'll try to stick to the point in hand in future <g>

Hope that clears any confusion I may have caused.
