Part of the list's decline, IMHO, is that there are way too many cool things
to do in way too short of a period. I actually have story ideas, I just
don't have the bandwidth to investigate them. I personally blame my
computer.
I only found out about the list (frighteningly long ago) by accident. I had
a friend who was investigating listservs at the time and let me leaf through
the list. It seems to me, if we could find a way to better advertise the
list, we might have some interest from outside people.
The most obvious one (that comes to me at the moment) is to talk to FASA
about having a link to Shadowrun related sites on their website and have a
link for us with an ability to read some highlight stories from the past,
with a way to do hook line and sinker sales pitch to draw them in.
Otherwise there are newsgroups but I've often wondered about the quality
factor when doing that.
In truth, to draw others, you need to have some sort of story going that
would involve others. I unfortunately, really haven't had the time to open
up my stories (or even post remotely enough to keep them going).
