1: Use of Frag, etc. Personally, I use frag and drek the vast majority
of the time, except when one of my older characters(AJ or Val) gets upset
enough to revert to "fuck" or "shit". Slitch and hoop don't make
sense
to me at all, so I don't use them.
But I also have no problem with the linguistic drift. No, I'm not even
close to an linguist, but considering how far slang has gone in the years
since I left high school, I have absolutely no problem beliving that
"fuck" could turn to "frag" or to any other similar word.
Of course, my current RL campaign uses "fuck" because we're a product of
our times, as players, and none of them has been willing to get into the
habit of saying "frag". :)
2: On the subject of newbies, I've noticed that a great many of them
have picked up on thier mistakes, slowly but surely, and are fixing
them. The personal problem with T/D stamp alteration has always been a
REALLY sticky point and will likely remain so for the forseeable future,
but the formatting errors have toned down a lot in the last day or so, IMHO.
