Sigh... I knew I shouldn't have said where these guys originally came from.
At least the carps aren't flying yet (I guess the recent arms race has left ev-
eryone's caches a little empty). Ok, first off, despite the name of the game,
(TMNT) was really a cool system (basic Palladium system) the way I ran it. I
ususally set it more into the future and played it as a dark and gritty realm
rather than the "day-glo" pizza munching crap (the game itself was actually
created based on the ORIGINAL TMNT comics, not that animated crap). So no, I
don't have Tiny Toons characters. What my characters are is a completely diff-
erent story altogether. WARNING, one of these characters is munckin-level
powerful, you have all been warned that I recognize said fact and, in return,
I will not directly involve him in any adventures in shadowtk.
ok, here goes...
1) Savlo, mutant cheetah.
Created as a genetics experiment by the Shugendo Corp, Slavo was the first in a
planned series of geneticly enhanced warriors. The corp in question was act-
ually a front for the Kuji Lung ninjutsu ryu, which subsequently adopted Salvo
and trained him. The corp was destroyed in warfare, and only Salvo survived.
He was treated as gaijin among his people, and left Japan to track down Omega
Force, of which he had heard rumors, to join. Formidable in combat, loves to
tinker in his spare time. Favors Ninja-to and pair of Jo staffs.

2)Vlad the Impaler, vampire bat.
Actually origin questionable, discovered in Columbia zoo and kipnapped by a
drug cartel, trained as warrior. Taught well, but treated cruelly. Escaped
and lived on his own until approached and asked to join Omega. Often ruthless,
Vlad distrusts humans (ok about metahumans, though). Not exactly the PR guy.
Usually provides airborne support with his grenade launcher, also carries
several short spears that he uses to throw at people and impale them.

3)Spike, porcipine.
Found in the wild by an oil corp, was taken in when they realized he was mu-
tated by some of their own wastes. Educated and trained, eventually became
head of security at the corp, but then discovered the truth about the corp's
practices and his own origin. Escaped and joined Omega. Uses knives (esp.
throwing) most often, also fond of grenades.

4)Kong, gorilla.
MidEast terrorists stole nuclear material in the attampt to build a bomb, but
failed in that attempt. Decided to play games with animals to create a spec-
ialized bodyguard and ended up with Kong. Kong learned what he could but de-
cided he didn't hold with the terrorists ideals and split. Got himself wired
as a rigger. In his spare time, he likes to view infomercials. Carries a
compound bow and a Scorpion SMG.

5)Napalm, mountain lion.
Found living in a cave above a former US toxic waste dump and trained by UCAS
Air Force. Showed the most promise in military intelligence, and ended up
becoming a decker. Provides matrix support for the group.

6)M.C., Tyrannosaurus Rex. *****MUNCKIN ALERT******
While his original mutation was unknown, M.C. was always above-average intelli-
gence and below average size for his species. He was trained millenia ago by
the warlock Merlyn, who forsaw great things of him, and then placed in stasis
by the same. Uncovered in polar ice cap in recent history with extraordinary
abilities and no real memories. Accompished mage and warrior. Created Omega
Force piece by piece. Original members were actually *created* in the Bio-
Warrior experiment for the military, but that project was shut down. Since
then, M.C. has felt it his "duty" to provide a place for other mutant animals.
His choice in firearms varies, but usually carries a large English broadsword.

THE REST OF THE CHARACTERS WERE CREATIONS OF THE BIO-WARRIOR EXPERIMENT:

7)Screech, pit bull.
First creation of bio-warrior experiment, M.C.'s second-in-command and chief
physical training officer. Exceptional warrior, likes doing matrix work as a
hobby.

8)Claymore, bobcat.
Walking tank of the group. Short, mean, and heavily armed. Has nightvision
capability. Carries katana and Panther assualt cannon. (whatta combo!!)

9)Adolph, timber wolf.
The "street" man of the group, he is a conniving and sneaky practical joker.
He's the advance team for the group, the first one sent into the field.
One of the only wired members, he has Communication and video links, hearing
amps, boosted reflexes, and hand razors. Carries a Ninja-to and an Ares
Crusader MP.

10)Magnum, siberian tiger.
Loner, perfectionist, and physical adept. Best at combat spells, but no con-
crete specialty, a wide base of knowledge. Carries a Roman Gladius short sword

11)Plump-o, cockatiel.
Guitar-playing smart-aleck and medic of the group, carries AUG-CSL weapon syst.
and a survival knife.

12)Tork, German Shepard.
Violence-loving nut, is a ball of concentrated hormones. The real "fun" guy
on shore leave, Tork is the point man for the group on missions. His combat/
noncombat personnas are night and day. Carries a combat axe, ninja bow, and
an Uzi IV.

...well, that's them and such... please be gentle with the carps and so forth
(if you don't like them, maybe I'll create a mutant carp out of spite!!!) >:-)
Anyway, I'll be awaiting any and all comments.

Normal people using the ShadowFurry rules (ShadowLore) would be ok.

These guys would be a PC's nightmare ! Any 'runner no matter how
well trained or experienced would wet his/her pants and/or shoot first
and ask questions later - I mean, c'mon, the sight of a bobcat running erect
(hope I got the image right) towards you with a Panther AC or a German
Shepperd taking pot shots at you with an UZI III (or IV) is not exactly the
kinda thing a 'runner sees everyday.

As novel as these characters might seem, I can't say introducing them
would be a good idea. The problem is not with Brian being able to control
their use but with the degeneration of the cyberpunk theme within SR's cyber
-fantasy setting. There's also a danger of others picking up from where
Brian left it and we might soon see mutant seaweed samurais taking to the
streets (aack! What an exaggeration! Thwap! Thwap!):> - it might begin to
feel like Flash Gordon rather than SR before long.

Could be just me - anyone else feel this way ?
