For the record, I did not, repeat NOT, plan this! I just saw the entry in
Fields of Fire about the Sentry guns, and the idea popped out at me.
Jeez Brian, you're ruthless!

(in a crochety old voice) Why I remember when we didn't have plot-d for
Shadowtk. All of the posts where like this, ya just react in certain ways ta
what people said, and a plot would form. It was spontaneous.

We also had more parties back then too..

Not like a NEED a "REASON" to want to come back to MN or nothing but...
when is there going to be a party?

Oh, and by the way, you guys can stop coming up with plots and plot lines
that my mage wants / needs to be a part of. There are far too many things
going on at once and I want to be in on all of them.

There is this UB thing (which, as thing stand, are still up in the air
right now) and there is the Chicago thing going on (getting someone's
friend out of bug infested territory), there is so much going on with
Mrs. V that I had to put on the side because there is no time to devote
100% of my resources to getting myself killed ("Hi, Mrs. Velli? My name
is Bob...You might know be better as a mage you hired some time ago. I need
some prototype weapons from your company and I was wondering if you could
hand over to me the shipping dates on one of your smaller shipments? --
"I'll take the stairs" (*Thud Thud Thud*) Thanks. I needed that...gurgle).

That, along with a line of a story that I have bubbling in my head right
now.

Not RL parties (although something should really be planned for the
summer of '95, IMHO) but we had lots of parties in the storyline. For
example, after the first MONICA war, Joe Yoshida hosted a party at his
place and everyone showed up and partied (CHRUSH danced around with a
lampshade on his head, and somebody, I think it was Raven, lost her
panties).

Anyone else want to get into a bidding war with Maxim for a security contract?
I see massive runner potential here, along with plot potential.....

I dont want to get into a bidding war with them at all. Right now my
funds are FAR too low to just go throwing my money out the windows.

I currently have some hardware set up (Industrial Sound and Magic...) that
is fraggin' perfect for training officers and other military personnel.
The public sees it as a simulator (sim-rig) for being able to do things
like casting spells (ala mage / shaman). What _I_ use the proto for
is training and keeping my combat reflexes at top notch. It also lets
me run through scenarios with new spells to see how taxing they will
be (I go through a lot of rats this way). With this equipment I could
prolly have a security force trained up (combat only) withing 6 months
to a year. After that they would have to spend time working on laws and
city ordinances to be able to be bonded / certified.

If there are people in the shadow community thinking / willing to do
this I can throw my lawyers and some capital their way to getting things
off the ground. But how would you find me / approach me with such
an offer? I dont know either.

Those were two different events. The "Girls' Night Out" was when Spirit,
Circuit Breaker, Cerise, Cat Dancing and several other women went out and
hit all the hot night clubs, partying, talking biz, and slamming on
men. =)

The lingerie (? I don't have a clue either) incident was somehting else,
when Nightstalker and Highlander got back from Omega Island.

And yes, it was Raven who left her panties behind. *grin*

Now I Remember - Lingerie is the correct spelling
(remember how much trouble we had in the first place
with the spelling!!!!!)
