A couple of things.

1) Brian A.: While I can understand and rationalize why a story needs
to kill someone high-up in the Ancient's gang (and female at that), I
object to killing off a named FASA character. If it was your own
character in the gang and not something that FASA has put there, then I
would be cool with it, but I think that might be pushing a little too
far the where does FASA end and I'm allowed to play line.

My advice would be to start small and build. Just like any good drama.
For myself, the first time I came onto the list, I started in other
people's plots before running on my own. This was mostly to get a feel
for how the list does stories. Once comfortable with that, I started
my own stories.

The first story doesn't even have to be something too exotic. It's
just enough to introduce the character and give the list some feel for
the character before you plunge it into something deep.

Then again, I approach things differently.

As far as the openings for runs, jobs, etc. I could probably generate
plenty of stuff given sufficient time, but I hesistate to do it because
I don't want to choke time from the main story (err... maybe threads
would be a better word) I have going. *shrug*

Ahhhh, I didn't originally realize that the head of the Ancients was named. Then I went
back and looked at my Underworld Sourcebook, and it's Sting. Any complaints with one of
her lieutenants, then?

Well.. there goes any objection I had.. :) Remembering that the Ancients is an
organization rivalling the size of today's Hells Angels, there should be quite
a number or Lieutenants, or even the head of a local chapter might work for
the plot you're trying to set up.

Agreed. Sting (the Ancient's leader) has a personal lieutenant; a guy
called Lucifer - an ex-Tir something or other. (According to IIRC Elven
Fire). However, the chances of other chapters of the Ancients being
commanded by a lieutenant is pretty high. Kill away.
