I am assuming that when it says PRIVATE we should not read it, like the
FAQ says. I think some people are, if the general postings are any
indication.

Or do some people have the ability to ready PRIVATE postings.(I am not an
idiot, I know we all can, but we aren't supposed to right?)

No, no. It means other *characters* can't read it. *We* can read anything
we want on the list. This isn't a PBEM (play by e-mail) RPG; it's more a
group storytelling enviroment. (That seems to be a common misconception
among new members--perhaps it should be clarified in the FAQ.)
