Okay, the call is out. Methos has been hired to find Jett, and possibly
to turn her over to the bad people. BigDaddy is pissed at being set up,
and wants to kick some ass. The chemicals are still out there. Are the
people who used the chemicals actually dead, or am I correct in my
theory that there's more than one group?

Now the big question: who hired Methos? Who wants Jett silenced or
subverted or whatever? And will John find out that Jack is actually his
long-lost twin brother? ( ;> ) Any volunteers? At this point, whoever
wants in has pretty much got it. Come on, don't make me look like a
paranoid fool! Prove that someone really is out to get Jett! :P

You're spot on: there's more than one person. They don't really give a
damn, though, nothing Jett's done or seems likely to do bothers them
yet.

Find out in next week's episode of... SOAP! :)

How is Static likely to react if she finds out that Jett ratted, then?

She's not going to make any moves against Jett at this time. Contrary to
Jett's belief, Static does indeed have morals. She took the run to help
SIGA keep tabs on what Combine and the argicultural crew is up to and has
no desire to harm anyone else who was on the run.

It's very simple to her: No one else on the run even asked what the
chemicals were used for, so they obviously didn't care. To develop a
sense of moral outrage at this point seems hypocritical in the least to
her.

As long as they don't make any moves that will endanger her she will not
move against them. If they jeopardize her position though, Static has
quite a few resources to call upon, not the least of which is the fact
that she's engaged to Zachary Turner (Imp) and the current leader of
Serenity's FRT unit.

Ah. Well, I think the likelihood anyway is that before calling an
all-out attack on Static, Jett and BigDaddy will more likely opt for a
nice little chat at first anyway, seeing as they know that they don't
have quite the resources Static does. Jett has opted to shut her mouth
for the time being and only feed small pieces of info that won't put
Static or herself in the spotlight. Jett IS a bit naive sometimes.
Remember, she's only 21, has been running for only about 4 years. And
she's a bit more used to J's and teammates who are straight with her
right off the bat, since for a good part of that 4 years she was part of
a solid team with regular Johnsons. So yeah, Jett screwed up as well,
and that's part of the reason she's trying to fix it.
