I would like to point out that none of the main characters on B5 are
dead. Sinclair was transferred to the Minbari homeworld as an
ambassador, and Delenn merely grew hair and ears in that cocoon of hers.
so no one is dead. At least, not yet...

Ears? I didn't see those (it's on tape. I'll check later.)

Anyway, true, noone has actually died that's a major character yet.
Of course, it's even still predictable...are they in that season, or not?

But I still expect a few of 'em to die. Near the end, but they'll
die.

JMS has gone on record as saying that at least one main character,
Garibaldi, will die during the series (we had visions of this in both
Babylon Squared and Signs and Portents).

bummer - Garibaldi is my favorite character.

You probably have a point there. The question is now, who's gonna be the
first to go?

Man, that sucks like a vacuum. They always kill off my favorites
characters. I think Londo's gonna die, too, one of these days, the way
he's getting mixed up with those weird aliens.

I also know for a fact that on B5, the whole thing is already written (5
year story line) and the assistant to Deleen (sp?), I don't recall his
name, will become a villian of sorts. All his contact with the humans
will corrupt him. How do I know this? My little brother worked on the
special effects team that did the first season (not the computer effects,
the traditional stuff). Very cool stuff in general.

About the Bab5 thing. Naw, what sucks is that Alen (sp..sue me)
had to get permission to grow hair...IN a COCCOON? She looked better
with out it. And a new actress playing the Varn assistant...at least
they could have gotten a closer voice match. And the trite angst
over the cmdr.'s lost wife.
Sorry, the plot line is good. I love the story, the graphics, but
somethings drive me up the wall. It could have been worse, it could
be like Space Precinct 2040. Horrible show that. And I've only seen
one episode.

Nawp, Londo and Ja'kar will kill each other in about 20 years. It was
established in the premiere of the first season, when Londo tried to
assassinate Ja'kar. As for Garibaldi, as of last night he's back on his
feet. 'Sides, I got the impression that scene in "Babylon Squared" was
still a few years down the road. Any doubts that these creeps are the enemy
B4 was stolen for?

Hey, man, Ilike that show. It has potential. Every show's first season
always has some problems. Remember ST:TNG, seaQuest DSV, etc., etc....

Hmmm... good point. But the way G'Kar has been acting lately, I don't
know if either he or Londo will survive twenty years, despite what Londo
said in the first season.

Aw, man, that sucks! Not about your brother, that's cool. But about
Lennir turning evil. I knew that the whole thing was pretty much written
as well. Larrr DeTillio is a friend of mine and we talked about the show
last year before it aired.

uh, 2nd season seaQuest is much worse than first season.

The first few episodes were OK, but since Earth 2 premiered and Fox
began running re-runs of The X-Files against DSV, I haven't watched it.
I think the cast changes were good, though. It added some spice to the
show.
