Somehow that bit got screwed up when I pasted it into my mailer, :( it
should have read....
DA: "What would you rather we do, walk into the camp and ask pleasantly
for them to give you both back, and move to a different location. If
even one had got out, they'd bring reinforcements. We are only a small
group, and cannot defend against units of this kind of size. It had to
be quick and brutal, or you would've shared the same fate as your other
colleague. He was killed by the rebels, if you want to know what they
did to him, you'll find his body over there near a latrine pit." DA
points in the direction of the battle fought by himself, Loch and Wells.
"But I warn you, it's not pretty."
Ben: "We didn't know he was dead, the commandant told us he'd been
released as a gesture of good faith to our funders, he had been set free
prior to our ransom being paid. Poor Ray..."
