Has FASA written anythign pertaining to Russia and/or the balkanized states
of Russia?? Something about Moscow, St. Petersburg, or the Ural Mountains??

I wanted to start someting there, but I don't want to embelish things as to
conflict with anything FASA has done. So, is there anything on Russia -- cold
hard fact is what I'm lokking for.

Anything with a FASA logo is great, and anything this list agrees to is just
as good.

Thanks.

No, no sourcebooks that I've seen, but they do discuss it a little bit in
the SRII sourcebook background material. It's basically cast as the major
global superpower left in the world, but it has to deal with upstarts
throughout the former Eastern Europe. Hold on, I'm checking ...

OK... here goes ... from 2030-2042 ... Germany, Poland, the Commonwealth
of Indep. States (Russian satellites like Ukraine), and the Russian
Republic all take each other on for territory and sovereignty.

Awakened forces seize areas like Western Siberian lowlands, Yukut ASSR,
and the general western lowlands. (read "Amazonia/Aztlan")

Generally EuroWars were Germany and Poland (later joined by the Brits)
against the Russians. Mysterious "Nightwraith" strike weakens all parties
too much to continue the fighting. (1-23-33)

Russia retains imperialistic fixation, but meets equal resistance from
neighboring states, corp pressure, and Awakened activity. (SRII p. 28)

This leaves TONS of area to be investigated as these reports are (at least)
15 years old. HOwever, one of my characters is active in Russian political
affairs so I'm willing to discuss possibilities with you.

Has anyone else seen mention of Russia in other sources?

peace
Dave
