Okay, I'll bite. If one of my quiet characters (obviously not from
Geiger's crew) hires him [Twitch] to do an assassin job, what will
protect Twitch from getting sniped at the meet?

(which would thus end the thread?)

Huh? Oh duh, do tell dodo, what is it that poor ol' Twitchy is s'posed
to have done now. Did I post to your nice clean bullyboard and make a
mess of things? Wake up the natives? Discover that everyone here is a
useless corp suit? What?

Oh I know what it was Grif, you done woke up, rolled over and realised
you were shaggin' your mother last night... That's it isn't it. Or do
you always throw pointless threats into the ether at people you've never
met?

Please inform the ol' Twitcher what the problem is. If I cain't fix it,
maybe I c'n put you out of your misery.

I don't know what the world is coming to. A guy posts, asks for work,
and the whole fraggin lot of you crack up. Jester seems to have gone
completely over the edge, fuck knows what he's talking about. And now I
get ill-conceived, idiotic, undefined, unwarranted threats from some
mook called Griffyn.

Well fuck the lot of you. I can't be bothered. If you don't wanna be
civilised and simply offer a guy some work, and get all upset on my
ass - then fine, come and get some!

Four things.

First. Twitch doesn't meet people for jobs - bit difficult to snipe at
someone you can't see. He has this opinion that the whole world is his
playground, but it's against him. Also, he has learned that killing
one's employer is not good for business. He always works through a
proxxy for meets, for the simple reason that his negotiation abilities,
are likely to end up with him owing the employer for the job.

Second. Burden of proof. If one of your "quiet" characters has
incontrovertible proof he did it, fair enough. If not, I expect to see
a few other "killers" on the list get their come uppance.

Third. Nothing at all. Everyone is susceptible to a snipers' bullet.
If you want to employ Twitch to do a job, he'll do it. You can kill him
at any time you see him during that job. Twitch has a money problem,
and big holes in his pockets. He likes money, but rarely has any for
any length of time, so works is something he always considers. But he
does carefully check the job, then assess it for amusement value. If it
doesn't amuse him, he doesn't do it.

Fourth. I might not let you <g>

Only one very small section of it.
