That last little bit about snagging an account off someone's network and
using said account to access Shadowland got me to thinkin'


Just how do you envision getting to shadowland bbs? And just
how easy it it to be able to find it?

Im not bitching or gripin' at all. Just tired and curious

In my game world, it's not easy at all. You need a decker of
at least moderate skills, and some pretty good contacts to get
the address of the current node.. For obvious reasons, that's
too limiting for here, though.

Probably a lot harder than it is for the purposes of this list :) But
then the story would all be deckers swapping lies about their coding
skills.

I work it as needing some competent Matrix help even for Shadowtalk.
ISTR that in the Universal Brotherhood sourcebook, the story suggested
Shadowland was a seriously tough place to reach, and the fact that the
UB were able to destroy the Seattle server made them *really*
dangerous...
