Sorry everyone. I really was hoping to post more CLU stuff last night
and today, but I haven't been feeling well at all the last few days, and
I wasn't even hung over.

I have a meeting this evening for a few hours with some ACLU people (give
me work! give me work!), so hopefully I'll post some stuff when I get
back.

For reasons that are FAR too complicated to explain, I am going to finish
up the birth of CLU/Sprite storyline this weekend by myself. I _AM NOT_
going to kill off MONICA at this time, so she'll still be around, but now
annoyed that CLU and her pet project SPRITE have escaped and are loose in
the system.

I apologize for this change in plan, but there are some reasons for it.
Cheif among this is the fact I suddenly am being deluged with other
projects, and won't have the time to do a proper multi-person run on AI,
but as I've got to resolve the CLU problem, I'm going to do that.

Sorry everyone. I hope you understand.

It is my hope that by the end of this week, I will have Vorlon back
online and doing it's thing.

It is my hope, at that point, to once again start doing something with my
characters. Specifically, Ramirez, Wolf-359, CLU, SPRITE, MONICA, and
Tirandor. I don't want to give away any details, but I have a plan......

Like there are no other characters on Shadowtk that don't have lots of history.
I can think of several characters on the list that had a lot of history that
didn't need to incorporate stuff that wasn't in Shadowrun.

Sorry Mr. Skirvin, I do not agree with this logic. *grin* As you proved so
elegantly earlier, there is no such thing as too late for something. I do not
even attempt to deny that you created a history for him. But unless there is
strong motivation for the contrary, I do not particularly feel there is a need
for the Enemy, or the Horrors more than what has already been incorporated.
We aren't creating stories for Earthdawn here. But again I will repeat what I
said earlier, "This whole discussion is very amusing."

I will stay with my earlier comment, you don't need what FASA has created in
Earthdawn to be creative in Shadowrun. Period.

I think Dean's warning is appropiate here. Leave other game systems out of
Shadowrun. They aren't part of Shadowrun. And Earthdawn is only weakly part
of shadowrun by being same 4th age of Earth (according to FA$A).

Careful. FA$A hasn't decided that yet. They are just waiting to see how much
input they get from players, so they can take the more popular option and
probably the one that will get them more money. *grin* gotta love
corporations.

I personally feel it is hurting the world. *grin*

Leave Lightbearers alone. They belong in Earthdawn, not Shadowrun.

I'll let the rest of plot-d decide on that one.

Since I do believe I started this with my little comment about how my
"Horror" plotline could affect them, I should set the record straight as to
what it really was meant to do. I created the actual storyline to try to set
up an accurate accounting of the history of Atlantis starting around 2000
years before it sank into the sea. I believe it sank into the sea sometime
between 4000BC and 3000BC, based on my research into Magick, Greek Mythology,
and Celtic Mythology. I was going to combine Greek and Celtic Mythology in
this story, because of my own past experiences. I DO believe that the Tuatha
De Danaan came originally from the continent and islands of Atlantis. I had
no plans whatsoever to include the Horrors, THAT only came after a phone
conversation with Daniel Waisley; and our little argument over whether or not
SR and ED should be combined; although after I had read ED I really thought
it was a skewed vision of the Fourth World. I DO not want to see ED brought
into SR anymore than it already has. As a matter of fact, I don't even want
ED and SR to be connected at all. I just have a storyline that for some
particular reason fits well into both SR and ED. HOW I was able to do that,
I have NO idea.
Later,
Tom Craig

I don't think that this is a good idea. We have no idea as to how FASA views
Atlantis. The only reference I can think of is it's link to orichalcum, but
even that is referred to as a legend. I would hate for you to invest alot
of energy into a plotline that could easily be negated by future FASA products.

So I waste my time and energy, I've already started anyway on RN with what
I've figured out about Atlantis. All I'm trying to do is create a feasable
history for it. I would not be surprised if FASA claims that Thera was
Atlantis. They seem to be setting that up, although they will have to
stretch to connect the two.

IMHO Atlantis was a Greek city-state that was built on a bad pice of rock
near the sea and then a Earthquake came along and sent Atlantis crashing
into the sea with about 1300 tons of rock. Nothing survived. It
disappeared into the sea and will never rise again, elves or no.

IMHO, of course.

FASA does equate Thera with Atlantis. Check out the Atlantean
Foundation in the Seattle Sourcebook, a corp that's out to dig up
anything they can on thera-Atlantis. Also, I remember seeing an
article on one of the screamsheets in the back of a module (Killing
Glare?) that mentions how researchers from MIT&M and the Atlantean
Foundation had uncovered remnants of a city-state called Thera,
another name for Atlantis, about 50 miles off Crete or something.

I do not at all appreciate having RL intrude on my Gaming Time. If I
had my mail filter in place I would never have seen it but for some
unknown reason, I get mail from the list that SAYS its from ShadowTK@****.blah
instead of from *@***** so I could nuke it on sight.

I had not meant to make this so strongly but its true at least for
me and has been for the last 2 months or more. I delete things from
sword and the other person at prairienet.* as soon as I see it. I havent
followed anything out of that "plot line" since about the time that they
showed up.

Flaming is not allowed and will result in removal from the list, period. If
the list owners / caretakers feel that this is a flame, let me know and I
will remove myself.

I forgot that the post with the question being popped was internal.
I sort of figured that it would be a normal "we did this on the run" type
of post like most of the others.

I'll try and remember to remove it from ye old logs.

<sigh> Mike, welcome back. 'Tis sad that I don't have enough time to read my
e-mail on a consistent basis...let alone work on the ideas I have for
storylines. I'm debating leaving the lists, because of my lack of time. I
haven't been keeping up on the stories that are currently going on...HELL, I
don't have time to go out...let alone shop for RPG supplies.

Due to a deadline at work, I'm going to have to continue delaying on
the little post about Midnight, Blitzkrieg, and others. The short
term effect is that I'm behind in all the stuff I need to get out for
the various plots I'm involved in. Hopefully, some night this week,
I'll be able to remedy that.

In the meantime, sorry folks.

HA! You think we need YOUR input to continue this story line, little man!?
This storyline has a mine of its own. We will do stuff and send you mail

Hey, paul, lets Easy and I steal a nuke and drop it on Philly. What do
you say? We can...its Mike's plot. He will be the one that gets in

This account is being highly erratic this evening.

The post I was going to do about Shadowfox isn't going to come out the
