So how hard IS it to get into SLand?

And I think someone else (not sure who) said it best when they asked why it would serve
the plot if Munchkin got geeked.

Why?

Mike.

I know I opened up a can of worms here, but I just wanted to know how the
others felt.

Sorry.

My bad.

_I_ personally feel that it should be hard to get to / hard to
find. But, I have to say, (and I had just faught with this seconds ago), I've
got characters who are definitely not deckers but who post to shadowland. You
need it for the flow of stories but I do try to keep it to a minimum without
at least a feasible story behind why the char is posting / how he /she found
shadowland.

Marty...has no story. None! he's a forensic/combat mage. No ware / no
deck. I should have posted from someone else at serenity tht he was
available and willing to take the job and given a phone nubmer where
he could be reached. If i could fix it now, I would, but, alas, its
already in the mail. Sorry.

Mike Loll on 9 Jan 97 put to email:

See the Shadowrun Companion : Beyond the Shadows. There is a chapter
uner "Contacts" that talks about this specifically. (It's a level one
contact)

Not just that, Brian. I've already responded to Marty.

Mike,
About SLand... Put it this way: When too many non-ruuners start
hanging in SLand, they change the Node addy. Just to put things in
perspective.

Later!
