Hey. I've been following the posts mostly, but I'm confused.

!) Methos responded at 18:45 that he would meet someone at Easy Eight
(in Seattle) that night. And then at 20:25 (same day) he was already
in Chicago?

If you flew, you could technically pull it off, I was under the
impression that Methos was driving his own vehicle. I'm confused.

2) To the owner of BigDaddy: I have serious doubts as to the realism
of the times you are allowing others for travel to Chicago. You want
them to get their fast, and yet don't you want them to be at least
somewhat quiet about the trip? Taking current day car speeds, and
adding 10 mph, the drive from Denver to Chicago is a bitch for one
person. Definitely not something under 10 hours even if seriously
speeding. Add the difficulty of crossing NAN lands, and you have even
more complications.

If the person is coming from Seattle it is even longer. Current day
driving on the East Coast is hidious. It is a six-seven hour drive
from the outskirts of New York City to Washington DC. Based on
population centers, I cannot imagine that getting better in the near
future. Especially since driving conditions generally allow a
visibility of 1/4 mile. Makes it dangerous to speed past a certain
speed.

Now if you are using a T-bird, it wouldn't be nearly so bad, but
avoiding detection on the plains of the Midwest with something moving
that fast is going to be mission impossible.

Now, it could very well be that my vision of travel time is off from
what Shadowrun allows, but .... the faster you go, the easier you are
to find and plenty of people will take notice and probably do something
about it.

Just my unasked for thoughts on the topics.

Mike

you are right to be confused. So was I I thought originally that we were
in Seattle. Then when big Daddy asked me to come to Chicago, I thought the
game was going down in Chicago.

The story can be anywhere. I was confused and screwed up it is my fault

BUT HEY

what an idea for a story line. What if someone is pulling a scam on Big
Daddy, Naw it would never work.

nope that's their problem, but yes next time i have to find out their
point or origin and worry bout the time. But if your on a plane, well
thats a whole nother ball of wax. The point i'm trying to do is to test
these few folk who think they have what it take to run with the Big
Crew. I don't just say "poof" now your there 9, 10, 12 hrs later. I ask
them for a descrip of thier journeys, and char, etc. before i send it
out. I haven't done it for Methos yet, and I'm talkin to him about it
now.

got to include time zone difference on this one. If he's a smart lil one
he'd have calculated that into his journey tiem.
